PRESS & MEDIA
For reviewers, journalists, podcasters, parish bulletins, and anyone covering the book.
Press kit and review materials.
Themes about how to actually live a life, not just how to think about one.
A note for publishers on the pen name.
The pen name is a voice decision, not a marketing construct, and it is workable for all standard publishing requirements.
Media: Solomon Gray is available for podcast interviews, written Q&As, and review correspondence under the pen name. Print and radio appearances work the same way. The pen name is the public identity, and all interviews proceed under it.
Events: Parish events, book signings, and speaking engagements are available under the pen name. The author does not appear publicly under his legal name.
Social presence: Instagram and X/Twitter accounts are in development and will be active before publication. Publishers who require an established platform before acquisition should treat this as a pre-launch site in active development.
Legal and contracts: The legal author of record is available on request. All rights and permissions correspondence routes through hello@solomongraybooks.com.
About the author.
The pen name is honest about the project’s intent: the Wisdom Books are the point, not the author. The work is meant to be assessed on its merits, not on the credentials of whoever wrote it.

Solomon Gray is the pen name of a layperson who drifted away from the Catholic Church for more than a decade and was brought back by the Wisdom Books of the Bible — Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Songs, Wisdom of Solomon, and Sirach. He writes from the position of someone who has been there, not an expert. He is not a theologian, not a priest, not a religious professional. He is a layperson who reads scripture seriously, has spent years in the Wisdom Books, and writes from drift-and-return rather than from formation.
